Why Did Kurt Cobain Write FUHGAWZ On His Shoe?

-Kurt apparently wrote “FUHGAWZ” on his left shoe to make fun of Eddie Vedder. 


Eddie once wrote “Fuhgawz” on his shirt just before a photo shoot, intentionally misspelling Fugazi.  

Kurt apparently wrote it on his shoe to basically make fun of Vedder.

-Both of Kurt’s shoes had it written on them in two different spellings of the name:

The story behind this phrase is that Vedder intentionally wrote it on his shirt just before a photoshoot, misspelling the word Fugazi (punk band from Washington, DC.).

Since Kurt did not like Pearl Jam, he scratched his sneakers with hints in graffiti mode.
